Volunteer, WSD (Welfare of Stray Dogs) NGO (2022-2023)

• Learned how to approach and handle a frightened or aggressive dog
• Learned how to calm dogs with severe anxiety

• Walked and cleaned the dogs
• Developed a skill of presenting information and pitching ideas to the team

Volunteer, LFA (Love for animals) NGO (2018-2021)

Welfare of stray dogs, cats, birds and many other animals at Willingdon Sports Club and the Racecourse

• Conducted surveillance walks on 40km, twice a week to look out for injured animals
• Managed a whatsapp group of 60 volunteers
• Collected food donations from the club members and outside donors
• Raised enough money to invest in an animal ambulance which was operated by one of our many volunteers

Founder, The Mahila Movement (2020-2021)

The Mahila Movement is aimed at increasing the population of women in sports

• Increased awareness of women in sport by conducting weekly seminars at 30 NGOS
• Visited 5 orphanages for girls and conducted seminars as well as played sports like football and cricket with them

Intern, Clinic of Dr.Tina Rustomji (2019-2020)

• Learned how to safely handle and restrain different animals such as dogs, cats, birds
• Understood how to interpret diagnostic images such as X-rays
• Observed minor surgeries

Volunteer, beach clean up at Chopati Beach (2018)

• Collected litter and debris like plastic bottles
• Sorted and categorized the waste collected in order to make it easy for disposal and recycling
• learned how to dispose waste in a safe and effective way
